nüeed exists because I'm allergic to clothes.

not in a dramatic way — in a literal one. most fabrics make my skin react, so I've 
spent my whole life reading fiber labels the way other people read ingredient lists, 
and putting almost everything back. what I could wear was vintage: the 90s pieces, 
the ones made before everything became plastic. better fabric, better cuts, made to 
last longer than a season.

that's where nüeed comes from. the silhouettes are the ones I've been saving for 
years — the archive pieces you screenshot at 1am and never find in your size. we 
make them again, the way they should have been made: cut from certified natural 
fabrics milled in italy, with nothing synthetic against your skin. organic wool that 
doesn't itch. cotton that breathes. silk that sits on bare skin all night.

everything is made in small numbered drops. not for hype — because making things 
slowly, in small batches, is the only way to make them this well. when a piece sells 
out, it's gone, and the next drop is already something new.

I design for a girl who's rarely home. she's based in a city but lives out of a 
carry-on, and she'd rather own five pieces that work in every one of them than fifty 
that don't. if that's you, you're who this is for.

I also happen to be right about trends embarrassingly early — I was wearing capris 
and low-rise when both were still a punchline. so some of what you see here won't 
make sense for another year or two. that's on schedule.
